Our History
Founded in 1986 by John Tilmon, Fred Deeb, and Bill Lovelace, TDL Contractors has been building throughout the metro Mid-South for over 30 years. In its early days, TDL Contractors was a hotel rehab company for both Deeb and Lovelace. Once the hotel renovations were complete in 1991 John Tilmon along with Dennis Hamilton, who was the Operations Manager at the time, bought the company from Deeb and Lovelace to continue as a General Contractor for commercial and industrial construction. Once in the role of General Contractor, TDL Contractors launched into various projects of all shapes and sizes across the Mid-South and surrounding states. In 2013 Dennis Hamilton retired from the company leaving John Tilmon as sole owner. Tilmon continued to grow the business up to 2018 when he sold the company to Benjamin Hamilton, the son of former owner Dennis Hamilton.
